Overview:

Join Athletic Therapist Ashley Burr and Pelvic Health Physiotherapist Jenny Telfer-Crum as they discuss the three most common core and pelvic floor myths you’ll hear in your practice from your female clients. They will outline how you can help your clients address these concerns as a practitioner who does not perform internal exams.

Given that, at least ⅓ of women experience 𝐛𝐥𝐚𝐝𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠, and 1 in 10 of them experience 𝐩𝐞𝐥𝐯𝐢𝐜 𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐨𝐫 𝐩𝐞𝐥𝐯𝐢𝐜 𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐩𝐬e, you’re likely going to have clients who have these concerns. Ashley and Jenny will outline how you can 𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐞 and 𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 your clients while they pursue their health and fitness goals from the outside, using the knowledge and skills that you already have, as well as when to refer out or expand your clinical knowledge base to optimize results.
